Wim Hof Interview

Wim Hof Interview

I highly recommend this video for anyone interested in general wellbeing. If you go along with the breathing exercise early in the vid, you might be surprised.

For anyone into health and fitness, wellbeing, mind/body, the immune system, alkalinity, improving mood and decreasing experiences such as depression or anxiety.

If you have not heard of Wim Hof, he is famous for doing things thought impossible for humans to do. Things like climbing Mount Everest in shorts, staying submerged in ice for long periods of time, being injected with E.Coli and influencing his immune system so that he did not suffer any-ill effects - being able to fight off the bacterium without becoming sick.

But this interview is not about how to do amazing stunts. It is about oxygenation of the cells in the body, leading to a more at peace, strong, alkaline system. It has been said that sickness thrives in acidic bodily conditions. Alkalising is a key to health, and oxygenation creates an alkaline environment for the body to thrive.

I think of it like water. Without proper oxygenation, it becomes stagnant, murky, dark and cloudy. Things begin to live in it that wouldn't if it was oxygenated. Our body is mostly water.

Thanks to Tim Shieff for making this and putting it all together. I also recommend subscribing to Tim on YouTube, he makes great vids on veganism, spirituality, health, clean water and more.

Let me know what you think of this interview. I have learnt a lot from it, and have incorporated Wim Hof's "philosophy" on breathing into my everyday life...
